Baku City Cirquit has announced that the first ticket outlet for the 2016 Formula 1 Grand Prix of Europe, taking place in Baku this summer has been opened at the Park Bulvar Shopping Centre.
Baku, Finance Time. The ticket outlet is located on the first floor of the shopping centre, near the main entrance and will operate everyday from 10am to 10pm. The operating hours may be subject to change in the future depending on circumstances. Additionally, a couple of additional ticket outlets in the city are due to open in the near future.
Commenting on the opening of the first ticket outlet, Baku City Circuit’s Commercial Director, Bulent Ozerdim said: “We opened the ticket outlet with the express aim of making ticket purchases much easier for Formula 1 fans in Baku. Local spectators can of course still continue to purchase some of the more limited range of special offer tickets via the official Baku City Circuit website. We are urging people to act fast and get their tickets as soon as they can as they may well be sold out very soon!”
A 20-40% discount on tickets is being offered to all Azerbaijani citizens and any foreign citizens residing in the country. Every individual can purchase a maximum of four of these specially discounted tickets each. You will be required to present an ID card upon purchase. Fans can choose seats from any of the grandstands located around the circuit, from where they can enjoy amazing views of the race, or alternatively decide to buy General Admission tickets.
Each ticket allows spectators to watch the racing action during all 3 days of the Grand Prix, excepting those who buy Friday-only tickets. They will also have the opportunity to watch the race weekend’s support series, GP2, and get access to the F1 VIllage located along Baku’s beautiful seaside Boulevard. They will also be able to attend all evening concerts and entertainment events for free.
