Baku, FinanceTime. The Women in IT Awards, technology’s largest diversity event in Azerbaijan organized by Azerbaijani Women in ICT (AWIC) “FEMMES DIGITALES” Club, will gather 300 of Azerbaijan’s most prominent IT leaders on January 26, 2017 at Baku’s Mugham Center.
The event will showcase the achievements and innovation of women in technology over the last 12 months, identifying new role models and promoting further dialogue around diversity among industry influencers.
The various government structures, leading ICT companies and organizations, as well as the extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassadors of different countries accredited in Azerbaijan, will attend the Award ceremony.
It should be noticed that the judges will be convened two weeks before the Awards ceremony to review all of the finalists’ in 15 nominations. The Jury staff is represented by successful men, representing the leading private ICT structures, well-known universities, media, government institutions and etc.
During the ceremony the following nominations will be presented:
The Innovator of the year; Startup of the year; Deployment of the year; Founder, CEO or CIO of the year; Digital leader of the year; Hero of IT; Transformation of the year; Woman of the year; Developer of the year; Employer of the year; Judges Choice; Rural and Remote Contribution in IT; IT teacher of the year; IT community/IT education program/IT education project; IT student of the year.
Azerbaijan Women in ICT Club – “FEMMES DIGITALES” invites all women, working in ICT sphere to get registered and take part in this event and thus, be the inseparable part of this grand ceremony.
To be qualified to Award, the applicants must benotyounger than 18 years and to have residential status in Azerbaijan Republic.
Besides, the nominee should fill the relevant form or submit a short presentation video, notlonger than 3 minutes.
