As reports Finance Time, referring to the Information-Analysis Department of Ministry of Taxes , in January-September 2012, the Ministry of Taxes provided revenue to the state budget in the amount of 4 billions 562 millions 764.5 thousand manats of tax payments. 37.2 percent of tax revenues fell to the profit tax, 24 to VAT, 12.9 to the income tax of physical persons, 8 to excises, 17.9 to other taxes.
From non-oil sector the budget received 2 billions 462 millions 265.1 thousand manats, which is an increase of 14.1 percent compared with the last year.
In January-September, the total number of taxpayers registered in the country amounted to 54.939. The number of physical persons registered in an electronic order starting from the 1st July to 1st October 2012 amounted to 43 thousands 921. The total number of registered by the 1st October 2012 was 467.224.
The share of returns sent in the republic in an electronic form during January-September 2012 is 90.2 percent.
