As reports Finance Time, referring to the “E-Azerbaijan.info”, 1,000 secondary school administrators will learn the efficient use of ICT in management through extensive training that will take place until the end of 2012. The in-service training program is implemented by Madad Azerbaijan in Baku and 39 other regions.
The program includes hands-on sessions on e-school management systems, virtual classroom teaching methodologies, and Azerbaijan educational web-portal (www.edu.az). In addition to the development of ICT competencies, the participants will learn the creation of e-resources, web 2.0 technologies, project-based and active learning methodologies.
The training on the use of ICT in school management is implemented within the “State Program on Informatization of the Educational System of Azerbaijan Republic 2008-2012.” Since its inception, the State Program provided the capacity-building opportunities to more than 12,500 secondary school administrators.
