As reports Finance Time, referring to the “E-Azerbaijan.info”, in November, 2012, representatives of Holcim (Azerbaijan) launched two-days of workshop for a group composed of 20 masters and fourth-year students of the Faculty of Building Materials Technology of the University of Construction and Architecture.
The purpose of two-days of workshop, organized by the Technical Solutions Department, was general introduction of the plant and important components of the cement manufacturing process. Firstly, the event participants familiarized themselves with the clinker production process. Then, the cement manufacturing process has been introduced with all stages. Herein, the participants had an opportunity to learn in depth about the production standards requirements and implementation areas. At the same time, during the lectures all participants observed the cement manufacturing process, as well as familiarized with operational health and safety and quality management system of the plant.
Workshops and tour within the plant will serve for increased knowledge of young professionals in the construction field, and for establishing closer relations with Holcim (Azerbaijan).
