As reports Finance Time, referring to the “E-Azerbaijan.info”, more than 100 education experts from the CIS countries convened in Moscow on November 28-29 to discuss the challenges of the educational systems in their countries and identify how the educational solutions of Intel® and its partners can be helpful. Co-hosted by Intel® Corporation, PH International Inc., Microsoft Corporation, and Polymedia, the conference is a prestigious event annually attended by the high-rank officials and experts in education. Madad Azerbaijan participated in the conference with a delegation consisting of Madad Executive Director, Intel® Educational Programs Officer in Azerbaijan, and Madad senior trainers.
Broadcasted live over the Internet, the conference challenged its participants to discuss the cutting-edge educational approaches and standards, transformation of schools and the teachers’ new roles, mobile education and social media, knowledge management, competences approach and formative evaluation, formal and informal education, and teachers’ capacity-building. The conference format consisted of the series of workshop and discussions, where the participants learned about the new educational projects using ICT, 1 student – 1 computer and Bring Your Own Devise approaches, Intel® Education Galaxy, Microsoft Partners in Learning Network, GoogleSite, and other online platforms for the XXI Century educational environment.
During the conference, Azerbaijan’s ICT in education model was noted as exemplary; and a special session was dedicated to learning about the best practices and successful results of integrating modern technologies into the students’ and teachers’ learning in Azerbaijan. Madad Executive Director, Vusal Khanlarov and Madad Senior Trainer, Bayaz Novruzova, presented a session on the “Formation of e-Education Environment in Azerbaijan.” The participants learned about Azerbaijan’s State Program on ICT for Education, its components and integrated approach that successfully transforms the country’s educational system to meet the demands of XXI Century.
At the end of the conference, Madad Azerbaijan was awarded a recognition plaque for the successful partnership with Intel® Corporation and its educational programs. The next conference is planned at the end of 2013 in Moscow.
