As reports Finance Time, referring to the “E-Azerbaijan.info”, as each year, in 2013 Holcim (Azerbaijan) launched summer internship program for the local students.
The aim of this program is to create added value for the theoretical background of the students by allocating to various departments. During this period, the students at Holcim (Azerbaijan) enhance practical skills, learn the leading state-of-art dry-kiln-line technology, get acquired with the international working environment, internal procedures and division of responsibilities.
The selected youth work with the supervision of technical and support departments’ managers. This paid internship gathered students from 6 Azerbaijani universities and national students studying abroad; and will last for 2-3 months.
The current lab intern at Holcim, Gunel, mentioned that “the experience at Holcim is quite rich. In addition to skills that we have acquired at Universities, here we got introduced with the primary components of the production process. This is very important for our development.” During the interview, leading engineer at Holcim (Azerbaijan), Ehtiram Mahmudov, stated that the current interns are quite strong and have good educational background. Thanks to our summer internship program, these students enhance their skills and become more competitive in labor market.
