As reports Finance Time, referring to the Ministry of Taxes, in January-May 2012, the Ministry of Taxes provided revenue to the state budget in the amount of 2 billion 577 millions 132.5 thousand manats of tax payments. 41.3percent of tax revenues fell to the profit tax, 23.9 to VAT, 11.9 to the income tax of physical persons, 6.9 to excises, 17 to other taxes.
From non-oil sector the budget received 1 billion 354 million 256 thousand manats, which is an increase of 13.6 percent compared with the last year.
In January-April, the total number of taxpayers registered in the country amounted to 32.256. The number of physical persons registered in an electronic order starting from the 1st July to 1st June 2012 amounted to 30 thousand 82. The total number of registered by the 1st May 2012 was 447.349.
The share of returns sent in the republic in an electronic form during January-May2012 is 91.8 percent.
