Trainings for journalists have been started in the framework of this project
Baku, Finance Time.The main objective of training courses organized within the project “Support to Online Media Development” is to extend assistance to the preparation of journalists reporting on the formation of e-society, and, particularly, on the process of e-government building. These courses held with a close assistance of professionals of ICT and media will last about one week.
The training is run on the basis of a specially elaborated program by taking into account spheres of interest of journalists. The program envisages the following topics for learning: effective use of social media; multimedia journalism; Internet advertising; mobile Internet and mobile technologies; online transparency and freedom of information; and, e-government. Journalists working for different media sources and students studying the journalism at higher educational institutions participate at this training. Those finishing successfully the courses will obtain certificates.
At present and within the mentioned project, there is also Online Media Contest open for journalists, bloggers and students. Articles for the contest as well as twits written by bloggers within the contest will be accepted until 15 November.
The project realized by Nar Mobile and “Multimedia” Information Center is being implemented with the support of the Ministry of Communication and Information Technologies.
