Baku, Finance Time. IX National Competition within Enactus (Entrepreneurial. Action. Us. - Enactus) International Program has kicked off on 30 May 2014, at the Monolit Plaza Hotel located in Baku. 12 Azerbaijani Enactus teams that joined this two-day long competition held with the support of Nar Mobile have presented over 30 projects. The final winning Enactus team of the Nakhchivan State University obtained a right to represent Azerbaijan in the prestigious Enactus – World Cup 2014 to be held in Beijing this year.

A winner of the Enactus Program - competition created as a platform for youngsters to conduct business talks in economic and educational fields- is defined against the criteria of innovative approach, social effect of projects, environmental standards’ protection, business ethics respect, financial governance, speech-making skills and others. Promotion of entrepreneurial activities amongst the young people, the free entrepreneurship idea between students and development of organizational and management skills, including teamwork ability form the main goals that make necessary to organize national competitions within the Enactus Program. Indeed, due to this reason, Nar Mobile which attaches the particular importance to promotion of education and science in the country,  increase of the student potential and development of young talents, extended its overall support to the Enactus Program.

It should be noted that the Enactus Program that was established by the US Universities in 1975 had the name of “Students in free enterprises – SIFE” until the year of 2012. Azerbaijan has gained the right to participate in the World Cup just after one year since its entry into this Program in 2005.
